I’m also excited to announce that after a brief series of blunders on my part, my book is finally available for sale on Amazon as a paperback! Those of you that like holding books in your hand can buy my book on Amazon and experience the feel of a glossy cover, some nifty fonts and drop-caps and other things you may not see in your average paperback book. Finally, I wanted to announce a series of bookish events:
On Friday, March 30, my sister will be blogging about my book on her awesome web site at Simplify101.com. As my sister, she is obviously impartial to my book, but you should read what she has to say anyway.
On April 5, I will be interviewed on Morgen Bailey’s awesome website http://morgenbailey.wordpress.com/blog-interviews/. Some of my answers to some of her interview questions are sure to be humorous.
On April 8 I will begin my first book blog tour. It will last until April 28 but not include April 21, because on April 21, Kid #4 is graduating from college, Mark is retiring from teaching at the same college, and it also happens to be our anniversary. Putting this all together for you: this means that I will be spending my anniversary in an auditorium with Mark’s Ex watching Kid #4 and Mark at the graduation. Woohoo. But back to the book. And what it means is that most days between April 8 and April 28th, my book will be traveling around in cyber space and featured hither and yon at locations currently a mystery to me. But thanks to the guys hosting all this stuff, I’m sure it will all work out.

To make my book tour all the more appealing, during the dates of the tour, my e-book will be on sale for 99 cents. Plus, I will also be giving away some free paperback copies of my book, AND some gorgeous necklaces which I found on Etsy. These necklaces were made by Jessica Peters (Jessentials jewelry) to match the cover of my book. Check out the photo Jessica sent me of the jewelry–how cute is that?
And finally, because everyone likes a good party, on April 15 I will be hosting a Twitter party. Given an opportunity to win a free paperback copy of my book or one of the necklaces, well, let me just say that I hope to “see you” there.
